Things to Do

The Cliffs of Moher

The Cliffs of Moher are instantly recognizable given that the stunning backdrop often features as the postcard image of Irish tourism. They are one of Ireland’s most visited tourist attractions and an absolute must see in both Clare and Ireland. The cliffs soar over 700 feet above the Atlantic Ocean and stretch for over 5 miles with a sheer vertical drop to the sea below.

Come see where most of Sean's family grew up! Doolin is the home of traditional Irish music, which can be enjoyed all night long in the local pubs. Especially our Aunt and Uncle's pub, McDermotts!!!

Visit The Town Of Lahinch

A short drive from the hotel heading towards the cliffs, Lahinch Beach’s famed flooding tide makes it ideal for surfing, sea kayaking and kite surfing. Seasoned surfers travel here from all over the world, but beginners can sign up for lessons at one of the many local surf schools

If you prefer gazing out over Atlantic waves than catching them, book a table at Barrtrá, a whitewashed country cottage overlooking Liscannor Bay that serves up some of the best seafood and steak in the county — try the mussels.

The Burren

The Burren in County Clare is internationally famous for the geology that formed the landscape, its long history of human settlement, traditional farming methods and impressive floral and animal diversity along Clare north coast line.
